Defining ARS Routes
(Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard)

The Configuration Wizard includes default route numbers and Class of Restriction (COR) group numbers for several types of calls, including Local, Long Distance, and Emergency. You can accept the defaults or change them to suit your configuration requirements.

Although not reflected in the COR Group Number field, all trunks are assigned COR 5 (blocked) to protect against toll fraud from incoming calls. You can change COR 5 to another standard (predefined) COR or to a custom COR to be defined later on the MiVoice Business system. You can also do the same for the COR assigned to users by changing the default (COR 1) to some other COR.

The COR Group Numbers here will also be used to seed the COR numbers in the User and Services Templates configured later.

To configure ARS routes:

  1. Select Configure routes.

  2. For each route, under Trunk Group, select the trunk type that is associated with that route.

  3. (Optional) Enter the Route Number and COR Group Number.

  4. (Optional) Assign alternatives to the standard CORs for trunks and users.

  5. Click Next to continue.
